Flooded with light, offering spectacular views of the Milan skyline and strategically located in one of the most elegant, well-served and central areas of Milan, the Gian Galeazzo 31 studio apartment offers every comfort, peace and quiet.

Close to everything. With a view

The Darsena and Navigli, the epicenter of nightlife and dotted with bars and restaurants, are 500 meters away. On the other hand, Bocconi University is only 800 meters away. And the Duomo is just over a kilometre away. It is difficult to imagine a better location in the city for tourists or visitors. Viale Gian Galeazzo is located on a ring of avenues known as the Spanish walls, the city walls that surrounded the city in the 16th century. Today, it is one of the most elegant areas with its late 19th-century buildings and large trees that adorn the avenues. The apartment is located in one of these stately buildings, which is of more recent construction. Located on the 7th and top floor of the building, which obviously has an elevator, it enjoys a breathtaking, uninterrupted view of the city from its north-facing balcony, from the bell tower of Sant’Eustorgio to the dome of San Lorenzo, the Duomo, and the Velasca Tower. In the background are the modern skyscrapers of Piazza Gai Aulenti and City Life and, on clear days, the Alps that embrace the Po Valley.

Flooded with light

Renovated about ten years ago, the 37m² studio apartment consists of a hallway that opens onto the living area, a separate kitchen, and a full bathroom. The living area and kitchen, with white walls, have light-colored parquet flooring, while the bathroom, with Bisazza mosaic glass tiles on the walls, has beige porcelain stoneware flooring. The rooms, all with natural light, face the same side. All windows and doors are double-glazed for perfect sealing and optimal sound insulation.

The living area offers a sofa that converts into a bed, a flat-screen TV, a table with chairs, and some low furniture. Here you will find the French window that brings light and air into the room and opens onto the balcony: it is small but large enough to accommodate a small table for breakfast or lunch. A third additional bed is also available, which can be pulled out from a pouf.

The kitchen, with its modern, light-colored furniture, is fully equipped with induction hobs, a multifunction oven (electric and microwave), a large refrigerator with freezer compartment, a dishwasher, and a sink. There are plates, dishes, cutlery, pots, and pans of various sizes, a Nespresso coffee machine, and a kettle.

The bathroom has a sink, a nice shower, a toilet, and a bidet.

The apartment has central heating and air conditioning, as well as Wi-Fi.

The Area

The Ticinese district, in the southern part of the historic center, exploded as a tourist destination and one of the epicenters of Milanese nightlife in the 1980s, with the redevelopment of many old railing houses and the opening of clubs, breweries, and restaurants. However, it has not lost its charm, still capable of evoking a more ancient and historic Milan. The renovation of the Darsena in preparation for Expo 2015, transformed into a small city lake, has completed its urban redevelopment. Exceptionally well served in every respect, it also has the advantage of being within walking distance of the city center. Also worth noting is its proximity to city parks such as Parco delle Basiliche and Parco Ravizza, where the buildings of Bocconi University are located.
